We’re excited to share some big news – over the next few months, we’ll be launching our brand-new website, bringing together three separate online spaces into one unified home.
The Smith Foundation, the William Henry Smith Specialist School and William Henry Smith Specialist College will now sit side-by-side on a single, refreshed platform that reflects who we are today and where we’re headed. It's a natural step from our recent rebrand to the William Henry Smith Foundation.
This isn’t just a new website. It’s a rebrand that brings our whole community together and helps us tell one clear story about our values, our work and the support we provide for children, young people and families.

Why the change?
Over time, we've grown and evolved, but our online presence has not always kept pace. Families, students and partners often needed to visit multiple websites to find what they were looking for. This could feel confusing, and it didn’t truly reflect how closely connected our services really are.
By bringing everything onto one site, we can:
-
Create a clearer identity – one brand, one message, one place to understand who we are
-
Make information easier to find – no more switching between websites
-
Showcase our full offer – education, care, wellbeing and family support, all under one roof
-
Improve consistency – in how we communicate, how we celebrate successes and how we share updates.
-
Strengthen collaboration – helping our teams work together more effectively across school, college and foundation services.
This rebrand is about reflecting our present-day community: connected, forward-thinking and committed to giving every young person the support they need to thrive.
Everything has been created to make life easier for the people who rely on us: our young people, families, staff and partners.
Looking ahead
This is an exciting step for our entire community. Our new website and rebrand show who we are today: connected, ambitious and ready for the future.
We can’t wait to share this next chapter with you as we continue building a place where children and young people feel supported, valued and understood.
We will be able to do share more details with you all in Spring 2026.
